For Monday, your rough draft of your research essay is due.  We will be working on Powerpoints in the cybrary and determining presentation dates and order.

 

For Wednesday, your Political Ideology charts will be due, and 12 of you have current event presentations.  Political Cartoon Analyses are due

 

For Friday, several of you have Powerpoint presentations to make and a final draft of your paper to turn in.  Some of you have current event presentations to give.

For Tuesday, you will have a quiz on CH 12-13.  All assigned work for those chapters and the extra credit offering will be due.

Have examined the documents in “Sectional Framework for the Antebellum Period” and come with an idea how to answer the questions posed on the assignment sheet you received in class.

Have completed your two Chapter 14 questions

 

For Thursday, Your timeline is due

 

Have taken text notes assigned and read the handout “The Father of American terrorism” and answered the question t the end of it.

Have completed reading notes on all assigned sections except the Compromise of 1850

Have completed Activity #2 –#1 and #2

Have completed all of Activity #4

 

For Wed. 11/26

 

Have completed the remainder of the text notes

Have completed all of Activity #1

Have finished Activity #2

Have competed reading and highlighting Activity #3

 

There will be a quiz o CH 12-13 on Dec. 1.  Donner Party E.C. will be due that day with no late turn in available.  You will also have an intro assignment on Chapter 14 to complete for the 1st.

 

Timeline will be due Dec. 3

Honors Government For Mon. 11/17   Come prepared for Amendment quiz on Bill of Rights. Cases on quiz were handed out.  You may write information about 6 cases on the sheet of paper provided in class on 11/13.  Study the guarantees and limitations on the chart.   We will be finishing watching the Scottsboro movie and you will receive the essay assignment on it. Bring your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices for research essay topics on Monday.     Remember, rough draft of the research essay will be due 12/1.  4 pages minimum.  5 sources minimum.  Only three can be internet ones.

Come prepared for Amendment quiz on Bill of Rights.

Cases on quiz were handed out.  You may write information about 6 cases on the sheet of paper provided in class on 11/13.  Study the guarantees and limitations on the chart.

 

We will be finishing watching the Scottsboro movie and you will receive the essay assignment on it.

Bring your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices for research essay topics on Monday.  

 

Remember, rough draft of the research essay will be due 12/1.  4 pages minimum.  5 sources minimum.  Only three can be internet ones.
