For the week of 10/27-10/31
Honors Government
10/27 (Mon) Newsweek Assignment is due
I recommended having your political cartoon analysis done
We will continue case reporting in class
10/29 (Wed) Federalism notes due
You will take the federalism quiz in class
Have the guarantees for Amendments 4-6 done on the chart
10/31 Prepare selected cases for presentation
For Tuesday, have the rest of the guarantees completed on chart
Continue work on the Constitution Study Guide–test will be soon
For the week of 10/27 – 10/31
AP US History
For Tuesday: Exam on Chapters 6-7; Have 1/3 of the Chap. 8 notesheet completed
Examine the election of 1828 chart
Have read pp. 249-260 and taken notes on the Jackson notesheet
For Thursday: Have finished reading the chapter and taking notes
Have the next third of the Chapter 8 notesheet completed
Have examined the 1832 election chart
Have read Portrait 18 and answered Q 2,3,4,5
Chapter 6-7 Timeline will be due in class
For Tuesday, Oct. 21
Honors Government
Have your visual aids on the assigned amendment completed. Remember-Amendment number, graphic, and no more than two words are allowed on your visual aid.
Study the notes you completed for yourself on the amendments 11-27. There will be a quiz on those amendments. Detailed studying will yield grade enhancements.
Assignments for Mon. Oct. 20
AP US History
2B–we will finish the presentations in class. Be sure all locations are done on the Jefferson map.
Both classes–be sure to bring your Madison biographical material to class.
War of 1812 analysis assignment should be completed when you come to class.
Check Chapter 7 assignment sheet for reading assignments for the War of 1812 assignment and for remainder of Chapter assignments for Wednesday.

AP US History
Be sure to read and follow the directions on the Chapter 7 Assignment sheet you received in class on 10-10-08. If you were absent on that day, be sure to see me Tuesday to get what you missed–you will be very sorry on the 20th if you have not.
Map locations and bringing a piece of biographical info on James Madison are also requirement for 10/15 for 3B and for 10/20 for 2B.
For Monday, Oct. 6
AP US History
You will have your Chapter 4-5 Exam. You will have 45 minutes maximum to complete the exam.
You will be able to use only part of your notes on the exam. Select the allowed number of pages (4 double-sided) from the items the review sheet indicates that you must turn in for note grading.
Following the exam, there will be an introductory lecture on Jefferson as President
You will also receive a group project assignment on Jefferson’s presidency
An AP essay prompt will also be handed out. The essay will be written in class in Wednesday.
Your timeline for chapters 3-5 will be due on Wednesday.
