For Tuesday, Sept. 23
Be prepared for the beginning of class quiz on the Articles of Confederation
The rest of you have current event presentations to do.
Read Chapter 2, sec. 4 in the text. Stop in on Monday and get the handouts that weren’t available on Friday. Read those as well.
For Monday Sept. 22
Come to class prepared to present your topics/subtopics.
Have your visual aids ready.
For Thursday, September 11th
Come prepared for the Declaration of Independence/Flag Exam. Study. It is a challenging exam.
Looking ahead, you have a political cartoon analysis due Monday the 15th.
Some of you have a current event article assigned for Monday the 15th.
For Friday September 12
• Complete required “Common Sense” work. Be sure to read the directions.
• Complete the first three bullet points on the Chapter 4 Assignment Sheet. The handout referred to is the one that you received in class on Wed. the 10th.
For Wed. September 10
AP US History–
Be sure you have finished the Sam Adams question sheet
Come prepared for the Chapter 2-3 Exam
You may use 4 pages of handwritten notes on the exam
Assignment for Tuesday, Sept. 9
• Complete the Newsweek assignment on the Sarah Palin article
• Select two or three potential quarter research essay topics
• Your Declaration/Flag exam will be Thursday, Sept. 11. Start studying!!!!!
Assignment for Monday, Sept. 8
• Read article #7 in Portrait of America Vol. 1. The title of the article is “Sam Adams: Firebrand of the Revolution”. be sure you know details about why that is an appropriate title in describing this colonial patriot.
• Complete chart work for your three assigned items on the Act Chart
• Looking ahead–you will have your Chapter 2-3 Exam on Wednesday Sept. 10
